Measure audio and make beats in ChatGPT

MAP Audio opens a recording that you attach in ChatGPT with its waveform, spectrogram and loudness meters. Select a passage, and ChatGPT receives the same measurements that you see, so you can ask about that part. You can also open PAM, MAP Audio's sampler and sequencer, and play a beat in the conversation, or have a recording processed through an MFX effect preset.

Waveform and spectrogram
Click to seek. Drag across the waveform to loop a passage.
Meters
Sample peak, true peak, RMS and integrated LUFS, measured in your browser.
Shared with ChatGPT
The measurements, playhead and selected region are passed to the conversation. ChatGPT can also open a file at a given time and mark sections on the timeline.
PAM
MAP Audio's eight-cell sampler and sequencer runs its full engine in your browser. ChatGPT can open it with a preset, a variation and a tempo, reads back what is loaded, and can change the tempo, variation, preset and transport while it is open. Press Play inside PAM once to hear it.
MFX
MAP Audio's effects processor renders a recording through one of its presets in your browser, without opening MFX. Compare the result with the original, download it, or ask ChatGPT about its loudness.
Limits
The player and PAM come with any MAP Audio account; controlling PAM from ChatGPT and MFX processing use a PAM or MFX licence the account already holds. Files up to 32 MiB, and up to five minutes for MFX (about three minutes of WAV); stored copies expire after one hour. PAM in ChatGPT uses MAP Audio's presets and cannot save presets or export audio. MAP Audio does not generate sound with AI.
